Justice Archana Arun Medhekar was appointed as a judge to the Ontario Court of Justice in early 2026.
Previously, Archana Medhekar was a lawyer in Peel Region specializing in Family Law. She worked with domestic violence survivors in both Toronto and Peel region. She was a member of Mediators Beyond Borders International and served on their delegation to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW62) in 2018.
Justice Medhekar is a co-author of the book “Domestic Violence in Immigrant Communities: Case Studies”.
