I am Tejas from Mississauga, Ontario. I am launching this website on May 1 – Maharashtra Divas – to create a resource for those with connections to Maharashtra and Canada. Over the coming days, weeks, and months, I will further flesh out this website. Your assistance in this endeavour is most welcome.
This website can also serve to connect the various Marathi mandals across Canada. The various existing mandals can obtain sub-domains to host their content on this website and have a uniform presence across Canada. Having the services of an association management professional will go a long way towards helping the mandals maintain updated content and help connect with each other. So, if you are a mandal please get in touch with me!
To get this website started on the right note, I have compiled a list of prominent individuals with connection to Maharashtra. All information is publicly available. If you know of any individual in Canada who should be profiled, please get in touch with me. I plan to lengthen the biographies over the coming weeks by conducting email interviews with the individuals.
